The audience was convinced that Suban Arriba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Du was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Fe came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Du made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Fe in the 13th minute of play. Rogelio Fe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Du having to make a save. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Suban Arriba, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Fe in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Fe in the 28th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kazimierz Birkenhagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Du made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Fe in the 38th minute of play. When Ciro Pellegrini came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Chelco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Pellegrini couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Rogelio Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Du took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fryderyk Debowski kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute Flavio Profeta ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Du. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Pellegrini made a kick off. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Pellegrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Chelco FC booed when NDVX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Debowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Chelco FC's Flavio Profeta in action when he in the 66th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 68 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Rufio came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Chelco FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Rufio. 71 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's goalkeeper Saverio Fidele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kazimierz Birkenhagen. With a little luck, Chelco FC's Saverio Fidele got control of the ball when Dominik Pietrasz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Aznaro in the 83rd minute of the match. Chelco FC's Bartolo Frasquito was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Du in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 93rd minute Baldomero Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Chelco FC were awarded a corner. Flavio Profeta went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Leonardo Aznaro to score against Du in NDVX's goal. 3-0 after 95 minutes. NDVX's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
