Humberto Vidal made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Floresta Negra FC's Clemente Moura. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Well-Well Junior quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Areion Koulpasis, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso da Cunha in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egun Pais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Ludomil Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 30th minute of play. After 46 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Well-Well Junior.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Cole to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Well-Well Junior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Cole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's zone, Andy Cole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egun Pais. Floresta Negra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Zhou Wei Fan was substituted for David Brás. Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 74th minute of play. If Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 80th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Lewandowski came free, but Ludomil Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
