Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's attentive Fortunato Froněk managed to snatch the ball when Téo Matorin made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Gernando Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Bernal. Soin Buisan was slow to take the kick. During this time Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Soin Buisan to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruy Montenegro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Milko. Téo Matorin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 18th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Valentin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a corner. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arjen Robben ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dagoberto Moraes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Milko to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Stefan Stenquist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Brandon Norton quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Azevedo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Bernal saved Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting behind. Lucio Morningstar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ruy Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Téo Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gernando Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gernando Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 95th minute of the match. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Moraes in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
