The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rômulo Neiva as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rômulo Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Zynek came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, one of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Andes FC - FSCMZ. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Zynek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Hudson in the 28th minute of the match. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Hudson in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Hudson in the 33rd minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's zone, Thiago Hudson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arjen Robben was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54thth minute Mukifus FSCMZ's Herensuge Colomes made a couple of brazen moves and fired away a shot to the left hand side of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalie, Ruy Montenegro, understanding what was about to happen, managed to get hold of the ball just before it went behind the net. A nice save by Ruy Montenegro. Ignacy Pluciennik hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Henrique Casemiro. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Ignacy Pluciennik with Vânderson Simões as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ruy Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Zynek in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Robben in the 73rd minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Arjen Robben had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo Neiva. Mukifus FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arjen Robben was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mukifus FSCMZ's Fulgencio Furman was substituted for Ignacy Pluciennik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Froněk in the 78th minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Cezary Bartoszek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cássio Vidal in the 81 minute of the game. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jozef Botto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Botto in the 84th minute of play. Ruy Montenegro had great luck who in the 89thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jozef Botto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mukifus FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herensuge Colomes in the 91st minute. Andolín Dijk's late challenge caught a Mukifus FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andolín Dijk helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Andolín Dijk.
