Imbituba - FSCMZ's Sidney Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 4th minute of play. Sidney Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 4th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luís Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute, Arjen Robben reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sidney Motta. The goal made the score 1-3. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berenguer Anda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's zone, Rogério da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Montenegro came out of the goal and Rogério da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Amadeu do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidney Motta. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeu do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gernando Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Berenguer Anda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Montenegro having to interfere. But to his dismay, Ersan Ergüleç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Sidney Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos-Henrique Casemiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 78th minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Pimenta. Sidney Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos-Henrique Casemiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ersan Ergüleç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Montenegro having to interfere. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
