Ludomil Ziomkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arjen Robben in the 6th minute. After taking down the ball on Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's corner Arjen Robben fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ludomil Ziomkowski quite easily take care of the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruy Montenegro. Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gernando Azevedo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludomil Ziomkowski. Ludomil Ziomkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro got control of the ball when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 26th minute of play. Ruy Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 28th minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xande Campbell in the 29th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Afonso da Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruy Montenegro. That made the score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xande Campbell took the corner. After 44 minutes of play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernando Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Montenegro. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu do Nascimento in the 57th minute of play. After 57th play minutes Gernando Azevedo shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Ludomil Ziomkowski and just under the crossbar into goal. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 61st minute of the match. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 67th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu do Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ludomil Ziomkowski made a huge save. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, one of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ:s Ruy Montenegro showed great skill when he stopped Afonso da Cunha:s penalty. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhou Wei Fan in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the match, Zhou Wei Fan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Montenegro. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhou Wei Fan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
