Fermin Dolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leal Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Jānis Blūms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leal Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Dolfo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Arias Navas made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Yalapa's Juan Edwardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Tálas in the 26th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Valadão in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jānis Blūms got free with Basri İhtiyar in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of KINGS FC booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Tálas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Valadão. Yalapa's Juan Edwardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arias Navas, made in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Fermin Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Valadão got free with Basri İhtiyar in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Dolfo made a kick off. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Tálas in the 52nd minute of play. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jānis Blūms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Tálas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Yalapa's Olaf Gall quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. KINGS FC's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Nogueira in the 88th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yalapa's Eustaquio Ramond slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leal Simões. That made the score 0-3 after 90 minutes of play. KINGS FC's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Tome in the 92nd minute of play. The KINGS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yalapa's performance. The match ended with a win for Yalapa.
