In the 2nd minute Bruno Scibilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Ozan Heybetli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claus Himschoot. The goal made the score 2-0. Sixten Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Scibilia in the 11th minute of the match. Claus Himschoot was a little too slow when Ozan Heybetli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 3-0. Ozan Heybetli might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claus Himschoot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ozan Heybetli ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot got control of the ball when Ozan Heybetli tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Scibilia came free, but Sixten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute PomeziaRamblers were awarded a corner. Adrián Frick went to the cornerflag to take it. Claus Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Winnepennincks in the 22nd minute of play. Maximo Hanot made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bruno Scibilia immediately put the ball in play. If Mattias Haavel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ozan Heybetli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claus Himschoot came out and tried to block the shot, but Ozan Heybetli slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 28th minute. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Rafail Klenov got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claus Himschoot made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ozan Heybetli sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ozan Heybetli in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claus Himschoot saved PomeziaRamblers from getting behind. Sixten Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Scibilia in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ozan Heybetli was the one to do the kick off. PomeziaRamblers's Raphael Varan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rafail Klenov in the 51 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Heybetli in the 54th minute of play forced PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, PomeziaRamblers's Kuido Suursaar got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Lenny Winnepennincks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ozan Heybetli might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claus Himschoot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ozan Heybetli ran back to his position shaking his head. Ozan Heybetli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claus Himschoot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. When Bruno Scibilia came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the PomeziaRamblers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Scibilia couldn't finish the play. Kuido Suursaar struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sixten Tunander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PomeziaRamblers. FC Hammarby Sjöstad made a substitution. Greger von Opel replaced Rafail Klenov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuido Suursaar got free with Sixten Tunander in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Ozan Heybetli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claus Himschoot. PomeziaRamblers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ozan Heybetli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 76 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Scibilia came free, but Sixten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The FC Hammarby Sjöstad players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
