In the 15th minute Bruno Scibilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galen Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Ülger. After 21 minutes of play, Hemse RK's Aleksander Lindholm made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claus Himschoot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aleksander Lindholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claus Himschoot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by PomeziaRamblers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andy Cane was slow to take the kick. During this time Hemse RK's players had a chance to rest. Tomas Hägert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Lindholm in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claus Himschoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Galen Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuido Suursaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Hemse RK's Lirian Andonovski was substituted for Andy Cane. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Ahlroth during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. PomeziaRamblers's Adrián Frick shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Galen Fågel but with some difficulty. Tomas Hägert missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Claus Himschoot right hand side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
