Radomir Medarov came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli. But to his dismay, Ozan Heybetli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Radomir Medarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozan Heybetli in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Knights Templar booed when FC Hammarby Sjöstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafail Klenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Ozan Heybetli notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Knights Templar's Radomir Medarov. Radomir Medarov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radomir Medarov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Heybetli came free, but Radomir Medarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sava Dodov, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Radomir Medarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozan Heybetli in the 34th minute of play. The corner ended in Ozan Heybetli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Knights Templar's Radomir Medarov did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Heybetli in the 37th minute of play forced Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixten Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksandro Nesta, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ozan Heybetli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zlatko Stumbov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Heybetli came free, but Radomir Medarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ozan Heybetli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radomir Medarov came out and tried to block the shot, but Ozan Heybetli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 58th minute. When FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Knights Templar's Radomir Medarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozan Heybetli in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Sava Dodov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ozan Heybetli. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The FC Hammarby Sjöstad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Hammarby Sjöstad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
