Ozan Heybetli ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Hemse RK's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Heybetli came free, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hemse RK's Mathias Alfors got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Aleksander Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hemse RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Tunander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Lindholm in the 27th minute of play forced FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalkeeper Sixten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Åke Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozan Heybetli in the 32nd minute of the match. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Rolf Waller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sven-Åke Kjellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozan Heybetli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Per-Olof Stenqvist in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sarracino De la Rosa. 38 minutes into the match, Ozan Heybetli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Sven-Åke Kjellbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 44 minutes, Ozan Heybetli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ozan Heybetli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Hemse RK's Lirian Andonovski was substituted for Andy Cane. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ozan Heybetli to make the kick off. Aureliusz Giejda charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliusz Giejda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Åke Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozan Heybetli in the 57th minute of the match. When Gabriel Hedlund fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hemse RK's protests and gave Gabriel Hedlund a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Lindholm in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixten Tunander saved FC Hammarby Sjöstad from getting behind. The Hemse RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Hammarby Sjöstad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
