A collision led to IFK Fjärås getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Torbjörn Samuelsson hit a great ball. Kristoffer Västerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozan Heybetli, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Şah came free, but Sixten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenny Winnepennincks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute of the game Torbjörn Samuelsson made a throw-in which Ben Şah played forward. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Fjärås's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the IFK Fjärås defense, Ozan Heybetli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristoffer Västerberg. The IFK Fjärås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristoffer Västerberg should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Artur Wichniarek got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Ben Şah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lenny Winnepennincks struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kristoffer Västerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hammarby Sjöstad. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

IFK Fjärås's Kristoffer Västerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save IFK Fjärås from getting a goal against them. Sixten Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Şah in the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ozan Heybetli got free with Kristoffer Västerberg in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sarracino De la Rosa to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristoffer Västerberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sixten Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuliano de Azevedo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ozan Heybetli managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Ozan Heybetli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristoffer Västerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esat Kemalettin in the 69th minute of play forced FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalkeeper Sixten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Hammarby Sjöstad made a substitution. Sverker Byström replaced Sarracino De la Rosa. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Rolf Waller managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bengt-Rune Nyman in the 73 minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Heybetli came free, but Kristoffer Västerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristoffer Västerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 92 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Heybetli came free, but Kristoffer Västerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
