The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the game, Txomin Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sven-Åke Kjellbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hemse RK's Tomas Hägert got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom got control of the ball when Txomin Astudillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. booed when Hemse RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xove Olano got free with Sven-Åke Kjellbom in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hemse RK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Txurio was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s corner Haroldo Txurio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven-Åke Kjellbom quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Lindholm in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piorno Camino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom got control of the ball when Xove Olano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xove Olano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Sven-Åke Kjellbom made a huge save. Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hemse RK from getting a goal against them. Piorno Camino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Lindholm's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom got control of the ball when Txomin Astudillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Aleksander Lindholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piorno Camino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Racoviță in the 38th minute of play forced Hemse RK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Kjellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Aleksander Lindholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piorno Camino was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Felix Racoviță took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Sven-Åke Kjellbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Hemse RK's Lirian Andonovski was substituted for Andy Cane. Hemse RK's Fredrik Klack was substituted for Eddie Larsson. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Txomin Astudillo was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Giejda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hemse RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. the free kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Felix Racoviță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Racoviță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hemse RK's Sven-Åke Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xove Olano in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Xove Olano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Åke Kjellbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Lindholm in the 72nd minute of play forced Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s goalkeeper Piorno Camino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Gustafsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piorno Camino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Piorno Camino was a little too slow when Aleksander Lindholm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 3-2. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Denis Baeza was substituted for Felix Racoviță. Rune Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piorno Camino having to interfere. If Aleksander Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Åke Kjellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txomin Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Denis Baeza scored 4-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Åke Kjellbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Åke Kjellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Platon Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Firmin took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Åke Kjellbom. Sven-Åke Kjellbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. The supporters of Hemse RK booed when Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Platon Marcilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
