In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Spams. Domingos Beila stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lamine Araujo. 0-1. Spams's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Spams from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ante Rebić in the 39th minute of play forced Labbeville's goalkeeper Lamine Araujo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Spams's Ante Rebić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lamine Araujo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Spams's Cecilio Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecilio Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamine Araujo having to interfere. Lamine Araujo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Alvaro Tino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lamine Araujo. The goal made the score 1-7. When the match was over Spams could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Labbeville throughout the match.
