A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ildefonso Guter hit a great ball. Howling Dawn U18's Erasmo Oskarbi was substituted for Romulo Palos. After 8 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Guter. Santos Hori came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Júnior Alagoano. But to his dismay, Júnior Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Way in the 19th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Doni Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Moises Belo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doni Seco was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Juan Bittor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco. Doni Seco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Geovani Madureira got a free kick in the 26th minute. Juan Bittor struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Doni Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Howling Dawn U18. After 29 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Seco. Santos Hori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Senna. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gerard Way hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Alagoano in the 42nd minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, one of Castanheiro SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Castanheiro SC. Castanheiro SC:s Doni Seco showed great skill when he stopped Axl Rose:s penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axl Rose was the one to do the kick off. Juan Bittor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Marco Bezerra got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axl Rose in the 63rd minute of play. Howling Dawn U18's Juan Bittor got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Júnior Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Santos Hori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. Howling Dawn U18's Scott Weiland was substituted for Axl Rose. Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme was substituted for Gerard Way. When Uriel Lauren fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howling Dawn U18's protests and gave Uriel Lauren a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the game, Scott Weiland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doni Seco. Scott Weiland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Baltasar Walme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Doni Seco made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Sarmento in the 84th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Scott Weiland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Walme got free with Doni Seco in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Madureira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Walme in the 97th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Doni Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Walme took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Seco. Doni Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Howling Dawn U18 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
