In the 32nd minute of the match, Terence Nicholas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bastian Abel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lanny Gilmore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bastian Abel having to make a save. After 35 minutes, Folko Meckelburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Eisenberg and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tyron Velasquez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Bastian Abel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot by Warren Ruiz from long distance, 49 minutes into the match, got Bastian Abel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lanny Gilmore to make the kick off. Lanny Gilmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bastian Abel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 80 played minutes FC Eisenberg got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Hopmeier. A nice corner shot did that Warren Ruiz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bastian Abel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes Cesar Small shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Bastian Abel when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Santos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
