In the 24th minute, Fitz Hubbard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Lee Kerr successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendon Bale in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Ekström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Örjan Björk 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Lee Kerr yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The wind increased when Örjan Björk made the kick off in the second half.
