Moritz Hasenjäger was slow to take the kick. During this time Hertha 1969's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 21st minute of play forced Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torjus Solvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Absalon Berritsgård's late challenge caught a Hertha 1969's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Absalon Berritsgård helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gettrup SIK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Absalon Berritsgård hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gettrup SIK's zone, Moritz Hasenjäger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torjus Solvoll came out of the goal and Moritz Hasenjäger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keld Popp in the 31st minute of the match. After 35 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loui Dyndgaard who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Heidingsfelder in the 36th minute of play forced Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gettrup SIK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Absalon Berritsgård hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Keld Popp came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Gettrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenon Gall. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hertha 1969! The goalkeeper, Rune Jarstein, was totally fooled by Gettrup SIK's Loui Dyndgaard, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loui Dyndgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll got control of the ball when Moritz Hasenjäger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute Absalon Berritsgård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moritz Hasenjäger kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Gall, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Zé Paulo da Silva made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gettrup SIK's Arthur Stenhus. If Rupert Heidingsfelder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torjus Solvoll made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Rupert Heidingsfelder sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the game, Rupert Heidingsfelder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torjus Solvoll. Rupert Heidingsfelder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Gettrup SIK's Jorge Pernambucano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Despite being the better team, Gettrup SIK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
