Beat Leutwyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. AFC Koolkerke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tang Di Nan in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes B68 Toftir got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Dias. When Lázaro Lizbeth came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the B68 Toftir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Lizbeth couldn't finish the play. Semi Acartürk hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Beat Leutwyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. B68 Toftir's Bengt-Arne Blomberg was substituted for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Beat Leutwyler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 90th minute. Ruben Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruben Dias hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFC Koolkerke had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
