Ulises Steven made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Loui Dyndgaard sent off a good shot on target. Torjus Solvoll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robertinho Carabajal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Robertinho Carabajal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll. Torjus Solvoll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Loui Dyndgaard took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ulises Steven to make any attempt to save it. Robertinho Carabajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Solvoll having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 28th minute of play forced Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keld Popp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Torjus Solvoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's Loui Dyndgaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulises Steven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, AFC Koolkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik-Jan Huysmans to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loui Dyndgaard. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th match minute, AFC Koolkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik-Jan Huysmans to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krestoffer Brandmose in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Steven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robertinho Carabajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torjus Solvoll having to make a save. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll got control of the ball when Robertinho Carabajal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keld Popp charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keld Popp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll got control of the ball when Robertinho Carabajal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robertinho Carabajal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torjus Solvoll came out and tried to block the shot, but Robertinho Carabajal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Robertinho Carabajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torjus Solvoll having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torjus Solvoll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Gall in the 71st minute of play. Robertinho Carabajal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Torjus Solvoll made a huge save. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gettrup SIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joseph Smits was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Koolkerke's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AFC Koolkerke's corner Joseph Smits fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Torjus Solvoll quite easily take care of the ball. Robertinho Carabajal struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Torjus Solvoll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Koolkerke. When Absalon Berritsgård came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Gettrup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Absalon Berritsgård couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Absalon Berritsgård came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AFC Koolkerke supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Koolkerke would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
