It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eric Duset kicked off to start the match. Casper Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Wilhelm Nienhaus sent off a good shot on target. IFK Bajenby's Casper Vennerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save IFK Bajenby from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Nienhaus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Vennerström was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Casper Vennerström managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Vennerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilhelm Nienhaus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Casper Vennerström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when IFK Bajenby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breannain McNamee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Casper Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zé Paulo da Silva sent off a good shot on target. Wilhelm Nienhaus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Casper Vennerström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th minute Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner. Moritz Hasenjäger went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Moritz Hasenjäger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IFK Bajenby's Casper Vennerström did a great save. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hertha 1969's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olov Tunander was slow to take the kick. During this time IFK Bajenby's players had a chance to rest. IFK Bajenby's Casper Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to IFK Bajenby getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Olov Tunander hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Oswald. After 42 minutes, Wilhelm Nienhaus made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Bajenby's Casper Vennerström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Eric Duset's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Jarstein was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 55 minutes IFK Bajenby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moritz Hasenjäger who took care of the corner kick. Kristian Oswald made a great header on Hertha 1969's corner, it was just that IFK Bajenby's Casper Vennerström managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 56th minute, Breannain McNamee fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Eric Duset stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal and Eric Duset tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Duset in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Vennerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hertha 1969's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Bajenby's goalkeeper Casper Vennerström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Rupert Heidingsfelder replaced Wilhelm Nienhaus. The corner went over the outstretched arms of IFK Bajenby's goalie and right to Nils Hovermann. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. IFK Bajenby's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breannain McNamee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Casper Vennerström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rupert Heidingsfelder in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Vennerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after IFK Bajenby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moritz Hasenjäger took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hertha 1969 had won after a very even match.
