Lee Kerr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Absalon Berritsgård, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Keld Popp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loui Dyndgaard came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lee Kerr could save by the left post. In the 13thth minute of the game Ulysses Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Gettrup SIK booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fitz Hubbard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calum Frost to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Loui Dyndgaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lee Kerr skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Keld Popp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lee Kerr. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. When Loui Dyndgaard came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gettrup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loui Dyndgaard couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Keld Popp in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Clapham Comets F.C.'s Kemalettin Torhan. Lee Kerr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zenon Gall in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Zenon Gall recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lee Kerr. Zenon Gall showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Zenon Gall fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gettrup SIK's protests and gave Zenon Gall a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gettrup SIK's Zenon Gall got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Kemalettin Torhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torjus Solvoll. Gettrup SIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kemalettin Torhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zenon Gall made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Kemalettin Torhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Solvoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Torjus Solvoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Cumhur Tanacan made a precise shot to the right of Torjus Solvoll. Gettrup SIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham Comets F.C.'s zone, Loui Dyndgaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lee Kerr came out of the goal and Loui Dyndgaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll got control of the ball when Ulysses Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torjus Solvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumhur Tanacan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kemalettin Torhan got free with Torjus Solvoll in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keld Popp struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lee Kerr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gettrup SIK. In the 85th minute, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Kemalettin Torhan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Torjus Solvoll. Torjus Solvoll yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Brendon Bale hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Ulysses Madureira sped through Gettrup SIK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torjus Solvoll. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clapham Comets F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
