Agah Ergüner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azly Vijiaratnam in the 32nd minute of the match. Agah Ergüner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ebelechukwu Agoda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Sule Akpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agah Ergüner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agah Ergüner came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Brighouse FC's Sochi Ugochukwu. But to his dismay, Sochi Ugochukwu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Akif Emrettin in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Azly Vijiaratnam to make the kick off. Shen Xun Yu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Agah Ergüner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Agah Ergüner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Azly Vijiaratnam in the 53rd minute. Orhan Veli Aytekin charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Aytekin in the 65th minute of play forced Brighouse FC's goalkeeper Billy Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vecdet Dağasan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, blackeagle's Vecdet Dağasan got a free kick in the 67th minute. The long shot by Azly Vijiaratnam in the 68th minute really tested Agah Ergüner's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Brighouse FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave blackeagle the free kick. blackeagle's Yağızhan Baştürk was substituted for Vecdet Dağasan. After 71 played minutes Brighouse FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdullahi Anyanwu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hurşit Sanal during the 74th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agah Ergüner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 89 played minutes blackeagle got a freekick which was hit by Yağızhan Baştürk. After a defensive mix-up in Brighouse FC's zone, Jan-Erik Kilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Tunberg came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Kilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ebelechukwu Agoda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Agah Ergüner made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
