The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg OSE's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Cruz came free, but György Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kálmán Gácsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Cruz in the 10th minute of play forced Zalasárszeg OSE's goalkeeper György Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michaël Myers, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas AFC from getting a goal against them. When Márió Kállai came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Zalasárszeg OSE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márió Kállai couldn't finish the play. György Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Transito in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szilárd Tótfalusi in the 25th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Leo Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Zalasárszeg OSE's Csaba Végvári slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leo Henric. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márió Kállai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leo Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kálmán Gácsi in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michaël Myers in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck György Tóth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leo Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Végvári, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
