Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista in the 7th minute of play. Primitivo Jeraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 8th minute. Primitivo Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 10th minute of the match. Emerald were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Palermo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Will Lemerond took the corner. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista in the 18th minute of play. Victor Piţurcă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Jeraldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes in the game 朱风俊 did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Victor Piţurcă. Victor Piţurcă scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Primitivo Jeraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Bautista in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Lobonț saved Emerald from getting behind. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rodrigo Bautista sped through Emerald's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogdan Lobonț. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Piţurcă to make the kick off. When Rodrigo Bautista came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Palermo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Bautista couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Bautista came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by 朱风俊. Emerald made a substitution. Gheorghe Craioveanu replaced Jaime Carioca. A collision led to Emerald getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. 朱风俊 hit a great ball. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Bautista in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th play minute Rodrigo Bautista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bogdan Lobonț. 1-4. After 80 played minutes Palermo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Galo. When Palermo AFC's Rodrigo Bautista in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Victor Piţurcă hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's Jesus Dalmu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Lobonț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Bautista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Lobonț having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Bautista in the 91st minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Jeraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Palermo AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Emerald.
