With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Jordão in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juaneizu Merida saved Nacional from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Quintino Carvalhais made a precise shot to the right of Juaneizu Merida. Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
