Cristinel Iosub might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlton Convine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristinel Iosub ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Rafael van der Vaart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olavo Velloso was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 6 minutes, Rafael van der Vaart made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Cuero Ibañez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Carlton Convine to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Revolución Joao FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cristinel Iosub hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Aguinaga Casasola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlton Convine. Glasston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aguinaga Casasola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rafael van der Vaart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Rafael van der Vaart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Velloso having to interfere. Carlton Convine made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aguinaga Casasola sent off a good shot on target. Aguinaga Casasola's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlton Convine firmly grabbed it by the left post. Carlton Convine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuero Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Eddy Watts hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Glasston's goalkeeper Carlton Convine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aguinaga Casasola. Revolución Joao FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Glasston's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aguinaga Casasola took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mete Golob in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Velloso saved Revolución Joao FC from getting behind. Carlton Convine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youssef Malek's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Golob came free, but Olavo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael van der Vaart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Glasston's Carlton Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Stoican in the 80th minute of play.
