Baha Sökmen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herberto Abreu having to make a save. Herberto Abreu was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Chiquinho Correia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chiquinho Correia really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Villenhallen's Enrique Montrell got a free kick in the 15th minute. BOMBILLO's supporters rose to their feet, but Baha Sökmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herberto Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Red Bull Villenhallen's goal looked a bit too open when Baha Sökmen came free, but Herberto Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
