After 2 minutes of play, Revolución Joao FC's Youssef Malek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Teofilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olavo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Han Zhen in the 6th minute of play. The corner led &La vieja Guardia&'s Edelmiro Tartalo to fire away a dangerous shot which Olavo Velloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Bartoli in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Teofilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 played minutes Revolución Joao FC got a freekick which was hit by Youssef Malek. Kang Han Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youssef Malek in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Teofilio saved &La vieja Guardia& from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 18th minute of play forced &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Fidel Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Youssef Malek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuero Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by &La vieja Guardia&'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aguinaga Casasola was slow to take the kick. During this time Revolución Joao FC's players had a chance to rest. After 29 played minutes Revolución Joao FC got a freekick which was hit by Zambrano Bravo. Kang Han Zhen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olavo Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Kang Han Zhen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 34th minute. A collision led to &La vieja Guardia& getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Kang Han Zhen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuero Ibañez in the 41st minute of play forced &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Fidel Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kang Han Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Olavo Velloso made a huge save. In the 47th minute, &La vieja Guardia&'s Edelmiro Tartalo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edelmiro Tartalo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of &La vieja Guardia& protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edelmiro Tartalo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 48 played minutes &La vieja Guardia& got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Tartalo. Aguinaga Casasola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Teofilio. &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youssef Malek in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, &La vieja Guardia&'s Alto Porro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fidel Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kang Han Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Youssef Malek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Teofilio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kang Han Zhen in the 61st minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes &La vieja Guardia& got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Arotza. Revolución Joao FC's Cuero Ibañez got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Kang Han Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Teofilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aguinaga Casasola in the 70th minute. Fidel Teofilio made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Aguinaga Casasola sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kang Han Zhen in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Alvaro Arotza heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Fidel Teofilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fidel Teofilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Youssef Malek went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 87 played minutes &La vieja Guardia& got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Bartolome. 88 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Fidel Teofilio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Youssef Malek. Zambrano Bravo made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by &La vieja Guardia&'s Alto Porro. In the 91st minute, Conrado Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Omar Ayon got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Mao Yang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Revolución Joao FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
