Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Youssef Malek notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin. Mías Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Souto came free, but Olavo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aguinaga Casasola got free with Mías Marin in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Titanes Mayas booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zambrano Bravo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Zambrano Bravo got a free kick in the 49th minute. In the 50th minute Zhang Xiang Han shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Blai made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Souto in the 54th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Revolución Joao FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Blai in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olavo Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Bartoli took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mías Marin. Mías Marin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Leandro Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Weijgaerts's late challenge caught a Revolución Joao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Weijgaerts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Titanes Mayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Weijgaerts to maneuver through the defense. Mías Marin came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Revolución Joao FC's Leandro Bartoli. But to his dismay, Leandro Bartoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Mías Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youssef Malek in the 85th minute of play. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mías Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aguinaga Casasola in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Souto in the 90th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mías Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youssef Malek, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aguinaga Casasola during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
