Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fazlı İçkin in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nicky Bryson hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Justus Lintorf dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Kayserispor's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Montenegro came free, but Doğan Alemdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicky Bryson made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Kayserispor's Jannes Ruttens threw himself towards the right post 50 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Spartak Ayala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Doğan Alemdar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Bryson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kayserispor's zone, Beto Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doğan Alemdar came out of the goal and Beto Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justus Lintorf in the 79th minute of play forced Kayserispor's goalkeeper Doğan Alemdar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
