Peter Bautmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Peter Bautmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iuri Law had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Costel Runcu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lukasz Brack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Iuri Law tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Hollywood's Tomas Nisio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute of the match FC Hollywood got a corner. FC Bredene's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Pätzold ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Hollywood's Tom Schober to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Bautmans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hu Xing Yin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jan-Felix Frischmuth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Xing Yin in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes FC Bredene got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Brodzki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Grooten in the 75th minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Law showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Vimaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Mai Si Liang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 minutes, Wellington do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bredene and the FC Hollywood players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Bredene fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Hollywood had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
