Cristo Uchiha's late challenge caught a Futbol Club RRFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Arendarski in the 15th minute of the match. Dedê de Castro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Angelo Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abandon All Hope. 18 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Arendarski came free, but Angelo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Meng Yan Jing managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Futbol Club RRFV's Samuel Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Futbol Club RRFV's Meng Yan Jing threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Vimaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Vimaro in the 22nd minute of the match. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Fausto Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futbol Club RRFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meng Yan Jing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Abandon All Hope from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Souza. 37 minutes into the game, Futbol Club RRFV's Fausto Vimaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Meng Yan Jing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Meng Yan Jing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Souza in the 41st minute. Fausto Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Meng Yan Jing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Club RRFV. Samuel Souza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Meng Yan Jing firmly grabbed it by the left post. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Martins in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Arendarski to make the kick off. When Samuel Souza came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Futbol Club RRFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Souza couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Martins in the 55th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Vimaro came free, but Meng Yan Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ye Hong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Angelo Velasco made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Souza came free, but Meng Yan Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
