André Luís Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Enrique Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Vimaro in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Nantwich's Reynaldo Estebe made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 27th minute Fausto Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Estebe in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Reynaldo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Albert Jowsey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Velasco was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Futbol Club RRFV's Fausto Vimaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Hanot. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. In the 42nd minute, Samuel Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Futbol Club RRFV's Fausto Vimaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enrique Hanot. Enrique Hanot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Samuel Souza made the kick off in the second half. Enrique Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Vimaro in the 51st minute of play. Reynaldo Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Angelo Velasco made a huge save. Nantwich were furious when Frazer Fordham was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 58th minute, one of Nantwich:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nantwich. Darko Mišura was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
