Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 3 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Meng Yan Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Meng Yan Jing was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After 9 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Piszczor. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meng Yan Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meng Yan Jing saved Abandon All Hope from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Enrique Cassaretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Abandon All Hope's Mateusz Piszczor got a free kick in the 16th minute. Meng Yan Jing came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Abandon All Hope was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Piszczor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Meng Yan Jing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Abandon All Hope's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iacob Roman took the corner. CD Municipal's Iacob Roman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Meng Yan Jing in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Abandon All Hope players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Municipal were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Enrique Cassaretto made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 53rd minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Meng Yan Jing to make any attempt to save it. After 60 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Buendia. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meng Yan Jing saved Abandon All Hope from getting behind. Meng Yan Jing made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Enrique Cassaretto sent off a good shot on target. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Enrique Cassaretto. In the 66th minute CD Municipal were awarded a corner. Iacob Roman went to the cornerflag to take it. Evtim Kúrdzhev made a great header on CD Municipal's corner, it was just that Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing managed to reach the ball for a save. Iacob Roman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Mateusz Piszczor's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateusz Piszczor helped the player get up and apologised. Mateusz Piszczor hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Meng Yan Jing. That made the score 1-5 after 70 minutes of play. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Oalo Dean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oalo Dean's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Meng Yan Jing firmly grabbed it by the left post. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Abandon All Hope's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iacob Roman took the corner. The corner led CD Municipal's Iacob Roman to fire away a dangerous shot which Meng Yan Jing despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oalo Dean in the 91st minute of play. Meng Yan Jing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oalo Dean in the 92nd minute. Meng Yan Jing was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Oalo Dean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oalo Dean really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6.
