An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Martxot in the 15th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cornelio Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Aritza took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Ribeiro. Simon Ribeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Chanchos's Jonatan Burutzagi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Simon Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Li Sha Yuan's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Aritza came free, but Simon Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Martxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Chanchos's Alain Ramsey got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Aritza made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Maximo Aritza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simon Ribeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Simon Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Aritza in the 54th minute. Bogdan Măgherușan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornelio Merexildo. Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chanchos's Cipriano Garoa was substituted for Jonatan Burutzagi. A collision led to Chanchos getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bogdan Măgherușan hit a great ball. Marz Caracedo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Tommy Gun sped through Defensores del Albinegro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cornelio Merexildo. In the 90th minute Concetto Mascitti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Li Sha Yuan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Ribeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Li Sha Yuan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 92nd minute. Defensores del Albinegro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
