Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvo Kobe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Goiano's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Thilo Haupt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Geraldo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karsten Oppmann in the 17th minute. Alvo Kobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Melo in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barnabas Rogge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geraldo Queiroz. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 33rd minute Joélson Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvo Kobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Barnabas Rogge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnabas Rogge in the 36th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnabas Rogge made a kick off. Geraldo Queiroz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Academica Pulheim's Barnabas Rogge. But to his dismay, Barnabas Rogge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 57 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Goiano came free, but Alvo Kobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Goiano got free with Alvo Kobe in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thilo Haupt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Geraldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabas Rogge in the 70th minute of play. Geraldo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnabas Rogge, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Karsten Oppmann notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz. Geraldo Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christoph Waldner charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoph Waldner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Christoph Waldner. After 88 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Mattos. In the 95th minute, Luiz Eduardo Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Academica Pulheim had won after a very even match.
