The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Robert Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 3rd minute, Robert Haegg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loco Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Robert Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's 尹剑彬 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xie Bang Ang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute Sportivo Mela Banco were awarded a corner. Roman Quiros went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sportivo Mela Banco's Roman Quiros to fire away a dangerous shot which Xie Bang Ang despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th minute, 尹剑彬 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xie Bang Ang. The goal made the score 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 尹剑彬. Xie Bang Ang was a little too slow when 尹剑彬 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. After 40 played minutes Sportivo Mela Banco got a freekick which was hit by Lucho Garkalin. In the 43rd minute, Edgard Bottin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Haegg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Sportivo Mela Banco's Teodoro Chano was substituted for Miromir Ciechocki. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 尹剑彬 made a kick off. The supporters of Sportivo Mela Banco booed when ARedonditos de Ricota CFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Mela Banco's Loco Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Mela Banco from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Matro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sportivo Mela Banco's Bruno Sauveur was substituted for 尹剑彬. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales was substituted for Jonas Paz. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Clemente Beltran was substituted for Guaberto Matro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Gonzales in the 75th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Loco Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Sauveur came free, but Xie Bang Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Sportivo Mela Banco were awarded a corner. Roman Quiros went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sportivo Mela Banco's corner Roman Quiros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xie Bang Ang quite easily take care of the ball. Loco Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Gonzales in the 79th minute of play. Teodoro Chano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Sportivo Mela Banco's Bruno Sauveur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xie Bang Ang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Mela Banco's Duro Sámuel got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Florentino Berasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Loco Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Berasko.
