After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palestra14! In the 14th minute of the match JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC got a corner. Palestra14's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristiano Ubriaco ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Trezeguet in the 16th minute of play forced Palestra14's goalkeeper Frits Heinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Palestra14 booed when JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Trezeguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frits Heinel made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Trezeguet in the 20th minute. Palestra14's Frits Heinel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Palestra14 from getting a goal against them. David Trezeguet spun around in front of the goal 22 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Palestra14's goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Trezeguet got free with Frits Heinel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frits Heinel made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when David Trezeguet sent off a good shot on target. David Trezeguet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frits Heinel having to make a save. David Trezeguet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Frits Heinel made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cain Vieri came free, but Mino Domene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mino Domene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mino Domene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Vieri in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC booed when Palestra14 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Penna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Castrejana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frits Heinel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Palestra14's Frits Heinel got control of the ball when David Trezeguet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Attilio Torelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mino Domene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cain Vieri to strike the kick off in the second half. Dennis Del Vecchio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC made a substitution. Alessandro Del Piero replaced Veto Caras. When Fausto Fioriti fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra14's protests and gave Fausto Fioriti a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Palestra14 got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Fioriti. 68 minutes into the match, Alessandro Del Piero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frits Heinel. Palestra14's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Del Piero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Costin Moscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Heinel having to interfere. In the 77th minute Christian Castrejana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Heinel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Dan Van Caels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frits Heinel. Palestra14's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Van Caels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Frits Heinel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Van Caels, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Dan Van Caels got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Alessandro Del Piero made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frits Heinel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frits Heinel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Van Caels, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 96 minutes, Cain Vieri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestra14 and the JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Palestra14 got a freekick which was hit by Cain Vieri. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC had played much better football throughout.
