Grabiel Escorcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benê Goiano having to make a save. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Benê Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 8th minute of play. Benê Goiano was a little too slow when Grabiel Escorcia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 14th minute, Kléber Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Benê Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Nacional's corner Xu Sha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benê Goiano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 18th minute Erling Franks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juaneizu Merida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Franks in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benê Goiano. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 32nd minute, Iztal Marisancena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 20 DE SETEMBRO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Xu Sha hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erling Franks to make the kick off. Benê Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Inverso in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by 20 DE SETEMBRO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xu Sha was slow to take the kick. During this time Nacional's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia to a score. 3-1 in the 55th minute. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a left leg Juaneizu Merida saved Nacional from getting behind. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Benê Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 70th minute of play. Grabiel Escorcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 DE SETEMBRO made a substitution. Orlando Nóbrega replaced Erling Franks. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Nóbrega in the 84th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Grabiel Escorcia. Grabiel Escorcia kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nacional fans cheered their team off the field, for while 20 DE SETEMBRO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
