The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Kieme in the 3rd minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Volkertsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Hussain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Anaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Max Volkertsen made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Herving came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Leon Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Havier to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frands Stensved in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match lyptus got a corner. Leon Platense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tony Heiselberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. 14 minutes into the game, Constantino Anaya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Max Volkertsen. Constantino Anaya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Gaafar Carrillo made a precise shot to the right of Max Volkertsen. lyptus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 19th minute Constantino Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Volkertsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dario Hussain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Max Volkertsen. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Max Volkertsen made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Constantino Anaya sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Hernán Leandro made a precise shot to the right of Max Volkertsen. lyptus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 33rd minute, Nicklas Kieme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gaafar Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Platense's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaafar Carrillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Volkertsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Volkertsen was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Dario Hussain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dario Hussain really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. 46 minutes into the game, lyptus's Thor Herving nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Rainerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicklas Kieme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. lyptus's Max Volkertsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaafar Carrillo in the 51st minute of play. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Kieme in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Tony Heiselberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Rainerio skillfully saved the ball. Dario Hussain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Dario Hussain put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Max Volkertsen. 79 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Kieme came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nikolas Lintner fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lyptus's protests and gave Nikolas Lintner a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Volkertsen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Matias Sengrat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Platense's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Sengrat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Volkertsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Platense were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after lyptus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Constantino Anaya took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of lyptus's goalie and right to Gaafar Carrillo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. lyptus's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Dario Hussain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Gaafar Carrillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leon Platense had played much better football throughout.
