Zvonimir Turković started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Francesco in the 7th minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Gustavo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patas Duras FC's Rodrigo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Patas Duras FC from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Edelmiro Obano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Terri Moco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodrigo Velloso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Terri Moco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Velloso having to make a save. In the 45th minute, Patas Duras FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Terri Moco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 46 minutes into the game, Pedro Troglio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patas Duras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A. Cachila the free kick. After 46 played minutes Patas Duras FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Troglio. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terri Moco to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, A.A. Cachila's Terri Moco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gustavo Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Obano in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Terri Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seymour Skinner made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cesar Cordarrel however managed to control. 98 minutes into the match, Patas Duras FC's Edelmiro Obano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Hartz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A.A. Cachila's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
