Diamante Negro DK - VV's Caco Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Tavares in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Tomé Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Mário Aparecido notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Diamante Negro DK - VV's Caco Mattos. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. Caco Mattos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Eduardo Sanches really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. If Mário Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geovani Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Vicente Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Venécia-ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute of the match Nova Venécia-ES got a corner. Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquim Rezende ran over to the corner to take the kick. Caco Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário de Salles in the 86th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Dino Tavares sped through Diamante Negro DK - VV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caco Mattos. Carlos Eduardo Sanches scored 0-10 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caco Mattos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caco Mattos was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Dino Tavares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dino Tavares really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. When the final whistle sounded Nova Venécia-ES left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Diamante Negro DK - VV.
