If Gustavo Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FLU ES fc's Inácio Moura managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luiz Quadros in the 15 minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's Tales Almeida broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Maurinho da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Bezerros EC's Gino Brito got control of the ball when William de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Luiz Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gino Brito came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FLU ES fc's Gilson Xavier. But to his dismay, Gilson Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 35th minute Gilson Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Quadros was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Luiz Quadros hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gino Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Xavier in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Patrick da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Gino Brito. Bezerros EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Gustavo Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Maurinho da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Ismael de Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gino Brito. Ismael de Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilson Xavier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Dedé Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick da Rocha came free, but Gino Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Xavier in the 58th minute of play. Maurinho da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Corrêa in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FLU ES fc's zone, Edinho Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho da Costa came out of the goal and Edinho Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gino Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Xavier in the 76th minute of play. A hard shot 86 in the game by Gustavo Corrêa from a close distance when the talented Maurinho da Costa managed to make a qualified save. FLU ES fc's players were relieved. Emanuel Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. FLU ES fc's Maurinho da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FLU ES fc from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Bezerros EC booed when FLU ES fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that FLU ES fc were the better team. FLU ES fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
