Kauan Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Bodrogi in the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio NG's zone, Erivaldo Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan Machado came out of the goal and Erivaldo Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Donato in the 31st minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Kauan Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Luz got free with Jean Schmidt in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erivaldo Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Bodrogi made a kick off. Viktor Bodrogi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Machado having to interfere. Kauan Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
