After 5 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Dário de Salles. With a little luck, Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto got control of the ball when Dino Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Dino Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gino Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when Que se abra o mar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário de Salles in the 16th minute of play. Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Que se abra o mar from getting a goal against them. Carlos Eduardo Sanches had several of the Que se abra o mar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Gino Britto as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário de Salles in the 28th minute of play forced Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Gino Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Carlos Eduardo Sanches made a precise shot to the right of Gino Britto. Que se abra o mar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Dino Tavares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gino Britto came out and tried to block the shot, but Dino Tavares slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto got control of the ball when Mário Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino Tavares did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Gino Britto 38 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes, Dino Tavares made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Carlos Eduardo Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Venécia-ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Eduardo Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mário Aparecido's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gino Britto firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Varela made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Dino Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Gino Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gino Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Tavares in the 56th minute of the match. Gino Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Aparecido in the 57th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Nova Venécia-ES's Dino Tavares made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gino Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the game, Mário Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Gino Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Tavares came free, but Gino Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário de Salles couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Mário Aparecido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gino Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. 90 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Aparecido came free, but Gino Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Sanches in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Dino Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Gino Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
