Gerson Leal was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Capixaba's players had a chance to rest. In the 29th minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chesus Alcocer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Landulfos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Virgílio Cardoso in the 42nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Virgílio Cardoso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrick Teles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute Sergio Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Gerson Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Capixaba and the Landulfos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Landulfos FC defense, Vágner Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chesus Alcocer. The Landulfos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chesus Alcocer should have stopped the shot. Patrick Teles came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Landulfos FC's Sergio Martins. But to his dismay, Sergio Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When Durvalino Torres fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Capixaba's protests and gave Durvalino Torres a yellow card for diving instead. Virgílio Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Patrick Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landulfos FC. Chesus Alcocer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Torres in the 72nd minute of play. Patrick Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute Virgílio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Landulfos FC's Chesus Alcocer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gol in the 85th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Mete Gol made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Landulfos FC's Chesus Alcocer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Patrick Teles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Atlético Capixaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Landulfos FC played a much better game than Atlético Capixaba and deserved their victory. The Atlético Capixaba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
