When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Otto Fesik sped through Gremio NG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. Gremio NG's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Otto Fesik 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. With a little luck, Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro got control of the ball when Otto Fesik tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Otto Fesik took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Fábio Pinheiro to make any attempt to save it. Murilo da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio NG's Raimundo Travassos. But to his dismay, Raimundo Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The supporters of Atlético Capixaba booed when Gremio NG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Fesik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Pinheiro having to interfere.

Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Fesik in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Otto Fesik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Fábio Pinheiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gremio NG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Capixaba the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Fesik in the 91st minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10-1 became the score in the 93rd minute when Otto Fesik elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
