The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denílson Martins during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Léo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pendekar Ngantuk in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bonita's Adalberto Cavalcante got a free kick in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo de Almeida in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léo Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Léo Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Carlos Augusto Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bonita's Léo Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson Martins was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Denílson Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Pendekar Ngantuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léo Tinoco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bonita's Léo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo de Almeida in the 26th minute of play. The Bonita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Tinoco should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Bonita's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Ciechocki came free, but Léo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thodoris Aggelou was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bonita's Léo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fesik in the 93rd minute of play. Otto Fesik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Otto Fesik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Capixaba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
