Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Júnior Quintana took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Natã Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fábio Pinheiro was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 7 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Natã Quintal. 16 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Robinho de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino do Vale. Luís Gustavo Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's Natã Quintal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Natã Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 minutes Gremio NG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdo Diniz who took care of the corner kick. Robinho de Salles made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Raimundo Travassos sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Júnior Quintana hit a great ball. Fábio Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Quintal's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã Quintal in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Pinheiro saved Gremio NG from getting behind. In the 36th minute of the match Nova Venécia-ES got a corner. Gremio NG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdo Diniz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Venécia-ES's zone, Raimundo Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho de Salles came out of the goal and Raimundo Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Antunes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Luís Gustavo Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Fábio Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After 52 minutes Gremio NG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdo Diniz who took care of the corner kick. Nova Venécia-ES's Valdo Diniz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fábio Pinheiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Quintal in the 54th minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fábio Pinheiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Quintal in the 57th minute of play. Natã Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Maia hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Natã Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Nova Venécia-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Quintal couldn't finish the play. In the 65thth minute of the game Natã Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Quintana came free, but Robinho de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Venécia-ES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdo Diniz in the 68th minute. After taking down the ball on Nova Venécia-ES's corner Valdo Diniz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fábio Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. Natã Quintal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Fábio Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Severino Maia hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With his leg Fábio Pinheiro managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Nova Venécia-ES's Natã Quintal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Natã Quintal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Fábio Pinheiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Natã Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Venécia-ES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nova Venécia-ES's Natã Quintal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Ciro Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gremio NG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Venécia-ES the free kick. A collision led to Gremio NG getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ciro Oliveira hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes, Nova Venécia-ES's Valdo Diniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fábio Pinheiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Venécia-ES reached it. Júnior Quintana hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Fábio Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luís Gustavo Botelho sent off a good shot on target. Gremio NG's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luís Gustavo Botelho 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Nova Venécia-ES left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gremio NG.
